The Late Teresia Mwangi

A Kenyan lady in Bellevue Nebraska was killed when her car skidded out into oncoming traffic in bad weather and collided with a truck. Teresia Njeri Mwangi died on Thursday, Dec. 23rd, 2010 at Creighton Medical Center as a result of the car crash on HWY 75 and Platteview RD in Bellevue.

Teresia came to the US in Oct 2009 as a green card holder but she has no other relatives in America. Her friends in Nebraska and members of Our Lady of Africa Catholic Chaplaincy Omaha have tried to raise money to offset funeral expenses and repatriate her body back to Kenya for burial but they still fall short of $4000.00.

The small Kenyan Community in Nebraska are now asking for help from all Kenyans to assist in raising the additional money to enable them to send the body back home to her mother Anastasia Wanjiku Mwangi of Gatundu,Thika County.
